If you would like to prepare for your next ski trip or get a first taste of what it feels like to slide over the snow with 1 or 2 boards under your feet, do not hesitate to contact me!
Since december 2016 I’m doing full winter seasons as a ski and snowboard instructor, since 2017 at Skischool Salober Schröcken. During these seasons I have barely spent a day without being on or in the snow. A “snowfie”(*) is part of it 😉.

Skischool Salober Schröcken
During the winter I work for Skischule Salober Schröcken. Would you like to go skiing or snowboarding with me? You can request me as an instructor, be sure to check with the ski school via https://www.skischule-salober.com/.
What is possible? Everything from beginners on the slopes to advanced skiers off-piste. Yes, I can take you into deep snow! We can delve into avalanche science, how to recognize the dangers and take them into account for a safe ride.
We can also train the “Pieps search” (searching for someone who fell under the avalanche). I can hereby pass on not only my experience as a ski instructor, but also that of the Austrian mountain rescue where I volunteer since 2021.
Would you rather be on the slopes? Plenty of options in the largest ski area in Austria, top 5 in the world. I can guide you through the entire ski area, including the so-called run-of-fame.
Snowshoeing
Snowshoeing is the perfect activity to enjoy the winter landscape. With thousands and thousands of years since its invention, snowshoes have proven to be a trustworthy tool to come to places where there are no lifts, no ski slopes or hiking trails. I can take you off-piste beyond the regular tourist path, away from civilization. We can do the tour in the theme of avalanche safety, among other things. For example, we can incorporate a training where you have to find a backpack buried under the snow with a Pieps device. Simply enjoy an amazing winter experience, into pristine and peaceful landscapes of the Austrian Alps.
Do you not ski or snowboard and would you like to go deeper into the wilderness or you need a break between two skiing days and you would like to experience something different? Be surprised, who knows, we might even build an igloo!
I spend the entire winter season from December to April in Warth-Schröcken (Austria). If you book your winter holiday in the area, we can schedule a snowshoeing tour. Is it full moon by any chance? Then we can set out in the light of the full moon, which illuminates all the surrounding snow-capped mountain peaks on our way: a beautiful night panorama. I can adapt the tour allowing any profile to join in without prior experience.
Combinations
Combinations is the name I chose for “tailor-made travel”, in the sense that you can compose your own menu by picking which activities you want to do among the panel of activities I offer. For winter sports, it is limited for the time being to ski and/or snowboard lessons being booked over the ski school. Snowshoeing can be done directly over me, for example after ski lessons, so you don’t have to miss a minute of skiing fun. Read more here…
